A Few Things to Know about The Installation Process

• Hardwood floors – Wood floors need to be acclimatized to the temperature in your house before installation and may be dropped off on a different date. It is important to have an area near where it's going to be installed to store it for acclimatization.
  
• Tile floors – Tiling usually takes several days. A day to tile (depending on the size of the area), a day to grout and a day to seal.   
  
• Grout – Grout comes in sanded or non-sanded. If you want small grout lines, you want non-sanded grout. That is probably the majority of installations. Choose a color that blends in with the tile and be aware that it is going to get dirty and the color may change. If you select white grout, it will discolor eventually. It is very important to seal grout to protect its color.
  
• Carpet – Carpet will have nominal shedding after the installation, so make sure to do regular vacuuming
